First of all… OMG!!! LAMA BANGET GAK POSTING DISINI!!!! hahaha. It’s not that I forgot that I’ve got an account here, but apparently  i didn’t put wordpress on my bookmark so I write a lil bit more on my other page. But I wrote most of them in my mother’s language (literally) which is Indonesian language.

Soooo… lots of things have been goin on here. My reconciliation my Mummy and Papa, starting up a new business with my sister, taking deutschkurs, dealing with my mummy’s mourn of Michael Jackson’s death, frequently asking my self why i suddenly want to be a mother soon, and trying to get the immigration office issue a new passport for me.

Y’all hear it right, people. I’m taking deustchkurs while I once swore that I’ll never learn that language. I’m going to Switzerland next year, for studying. That’s why im doing an intensive class in deustch until next April. So far, I’ve got no problem with people asking me deutsch. As long as the question isn’t so different from woher kommt du? hehe.

As im a very much jobless right now, im back to my old routine: being an impulsive shopper. And that’s not good at all!!! My parents have decided to cut out my credit cards allowance. In fact, they have already blocked 4 of them. It brought me a small wave of depression at first, but I think I handled it well :-D Now I’ve got a nearly acute insomnia and glad to tell that it has nothing to do with my parents blocked my precious plastics :-D

Anyway, it’s been almost a month since Mr. Jackson passed away. My mother is still very much in a mourn though. I really can’t tell if it is because she loves Michael Jackson (even more than she loves my Papa? hehe) or she’s sad with the fact that im kinda familiar with the drugs assumed to be killing The King of Pop? Not to say my cousin already predicted that I might die the way Michael Jackson died.

That’s all pals ;-) I’ll close it with a promise that ill be back in Europe… soon!!!!!!!!!! :-) Miss you all sooooo much.

xx

thought i was getting better already (fewer sneeze, no fever, a bit coughing, and thankfully alive), so i decided to get some fresh air today. Mall was surely my first option in this case. Left the house at 10 am, while the mall i was planning to hit on is just 15 mins away from home.

Starting it up once I got into the mall by getting some trashy (yet wonderfully tasty) breakfast for my self, then strolling around from one window to another. After an hour or so… I had already some Quicksilver t-shirts for my little brothers. Accidentally passed the XXI cinema theatre (no platinum screen here in my town :-( ) and saw some movies are on scheduled there. Bought a ticket and dragged my self to an almost empty theatre. First movie on. 2 hours later, I found my self queueing for another ticket for another movie. Movie number 2 in action. I was almost done with movie number 2 when my sister called and said she’d be joining me.

When the 2nd movie had finished, I met my sister outside the theatre and she showed me 2 tickets for another movie. Thank God she picked the movie I hadn’t seen. Movie number 3 was a bit different… unlike the first 2 movies, I paid some attentions to the casts’ conversations this time :-)

Done with movie number 3, there were apparently some more times left before I had to drive my sister to her pre-med school classes. She took me to a record store. Guess what I bought? Some movie DVDs. Well, 5 to be exact. Through with film number 1 and 2, now im watching number 3. Still some minutes to go before I have to take my sister back from her classes :-)

As a conclusion…. 5 t-shirts, 6 movies, and 2 more to be watched, and ill be off taking my sister from her classes in any seconds.

And, yeah, im not feeling so well (again) this time. I think I’ve got my fever back. I sneeze again after I took a bath an hour a go, coughing like crazy and the paracetamol hasn’t shown its magic on me! I think I have to take the ‘forbidden’ advil before i sleep tonight.

So…. till then. im totally dozy now and ill be driving!! smart me for using my father’s car today ;-)

xx

The movies I see today, by the way, if you wanna know ^_^:

1. Transporter 3 (Guns, some drops of blood)

2. The Day Earth Stood Still (half asleep when i watched this. I love Keanu Reeves though ;-) )

3. Twilight (beautiful men… well, beautiful vampires :-D )

4. My Father (a real cool Korean movie!!)

5. Speed Racer (seen it 3 times on silver screen, but I love the monkey so much!)

6. Narnia and The Prince Caspian (no comment… BARNES RULEZZZ!!!)

Welcome to the city where you only can find 3 Starbucks outlets!* Well, it doesn’t matter anyway since the number of people who live in Zürich is not enormous! Also it is forgiven by many great confectionaries you can find there. Who needs caffeine when the finest chocolate in the world is being offered right next to your door?!?

Anyhow, this city isn’t only blessed by so many greatest chocolatiers ever alive, there’s just so much about Zürich that will make people in love with this little heaven. As an example, there’s no such thing called traffic, my friend! Hehe. Even if you notice the city is more to be like vehicle-free city. The people are spoiled by a great system of public transportation. Though I personally think that walking is a great option after tons of choco pralines and raclette :-p

For ladies, tell your father (or boyfriend, or hubby) that there are not many shopping malls in Zürich. It brings them such a relieve, I believe. Just wait till they hear your story about you accidentally being dropped off in an area called Bahnhofstrasse!! Jelmoli is probably the biggest department store you may find within the area. I love it.  You can get Agent Provocateur, cute mugs, great crystal for home decorating, and many more under one roof. Everything there is relatively cheap, though I still think I can find cheaper stuffs with the same range of quality in other places outside Switzerland :-D There are plenty of international brand boutiques in this area. Louis Vuitton, Zegna, Dior, but no Hermes (or did I miss it??). But honey, gotta tell you one thing, take a (quite long) journey by train to Paris and get your Porte Tresor at Champs Elysees. Simply don’t buy it in Zürich. It’s just not a place to have a Louis Vuitton shopping session :-)

There’s a place also which I think still in the area of Bahnhofstrasse. Paradeplatz,. Take a walk there and treat your self a great chocolate you can get in a store named Sprüngli. A bit pricey, but it’s all worth the price  :-) But what are not pricey in this city by the way? I even suspect that actually we’re being charged for the air we breath while we’re staying there :-D

Getting around in Zürich isn’t so difficult. As I mentioned earlier that the city has got probably the best transportation system in the universe. There’s tram that literally will connect you door-to-door. Unless you wanna have a bit of adventure, taking a walk getting around the city and got lost trying to find a way to reach Rämistrasse from Talstrasse (so obvious who’s that stupid one, yeah?)

One more thing… well, it’s applied in almost every part of Switzerland. The people do speak in Swiss German language. It’s okay if you speak German, coz everyone will understand you well. The accent is kinda different and even though they speak German, they won’t say danke as a form of thank you. Instead, they’ll say merci with a very different accent from the French merci. Cute, isn’t it? So don’t ever forget, mates!! It’s ‘merci vilmal’ (a bit weird, I know) not a ‘vielen dank’. Hehe

xx

* as a person who used to hang out in a city called Jakarta, it’s a bit overwhelming! Jakarta’s got more than 7 Starbucks outlets, mate!!

So many things in my head now. It feels like I wanna pour them all in a writing piece, but I can’t. Simply because it’s been too many… and I really dunno where to start.

Anyway, yesterday I did my newest weekly routine, which is going to the cinema alone and watch some movies till I got bored. Everyone consider it weird. And I wonder why. There’s nothing wrong with that, showing a bit of my loner side :)

Met a friend there and she looked so shocked when I told her that I was alone. She was like, “I thought you were with your man”. Bloody hell!!! How many times do I have to announce to the world that I’m bloody single??!!?? But well… just forget that part. Nature’s calling and that saved me from the awkward situation with my friend.

This routine started couple weeks ago when I really wanted to see a movie but I had no accompany to go with. So I went alone… and that was cool enough for me. As you may guess, it continued to another movie at the very next week. I collect all the movies tickets where im going there alone. That’d be a good reminder how lonely I’ve once been. Hehehe

Not only going to the cinema, now I really enjoy my self walking around a shopping mall or hanging out at starbucks with tons of caffeine for hours… amazingly alone. Something I will never do in the past, considering I couldn’t even go to the grocery store which is just 100 meters away from my house alone.

It’s not because im such an anti-social person who’s got no friends to go out with. I’ve got plenty of options. But I chose not to choose :-p Me kinda wants to avoid complexity now… by doing everything alone, it’s just gonna be me and my self. No other involved, which makes me such a self-centered person (again). Anyway, that’d be a great match for my new love :-D he’s such a self-centered person as well, I heard :-p

However, I think I have one (sorta) big reason for being alone. I don’t wanna make any mistakes, as simple as that. Especially now. By being alone, all the mistakes can be lessen and it’s only gonna be me who will deal with the ‘mistakes effects’.

One thing I still cannot do alone until now. Go to the clubs… though im not so into it anymore. I don’t think ill ever go to the clubs again :-)

However, a loner clubhopper would  be a great story to make :-p
